Coolest find so far....an actual radio! Super fun from the 70's and in great condition.

Tons thrown away and I probably only got about 4 ft inside the door cleared and the 4 drawers & shelves emptied in the built-in cabinet.

I pulled 2-3 boxes of "to check-out" items to haul out plus the new-in-box Avon items

Slow going but baby steps!

It's time for Thrift Shop Thursday! This week we have something completely different for you...haha buckle up! Vicki's husband purchased a series of dilapidated homes in the country that need major renovation. One of them, was still full and it's like a time capsule!

Thrift Shop Thursday CHALLENGE #2: "Buy it? Or Leave It?" This morning we saw these two mod, groovy plasticware pieces at the Salvation Army in Waukesha, Wisconsin for just a super cheap price of $4.99 & $5.99!

These were made by West Bend and are their Thermo-Serve line from the 70's. Gotta dig that gold and black color way, right?

They are insulated in absolute new condition--a plus as I guess they get cracked often.

These are listed on many platforms anywhere from $15 to $60 with sold comps right around the $20 most commonly.

Fun pieces of. You have this type of decor!

Important**We always have to see what "demand" there is for items in the online marketplaces. Just because there are pieces listed for a certain price it doesn't mean those prices are realistic.

Thrift Shop Thursday CHALLENGE #1: "Buy it? Or Leave It?" This morning we saw this unusual pottery bowl at the Salvation Army in Waukesha, Wisconsin for just a super cheap price of $3.99 !

I did some research and discover this was made by Brianne Becker out of Hartland, Wisconsin. They retail on her Etsy store for $100. Check out their store on Etsy they have some beautiful pieces!

The quality on this piece was evident even from a distance. It wasn't perfect condition - a great find! (I did not purchase)

You can often find regional items in your particular areas so keep an eye out!
