Around this time in 2023 this little tank was still baking in the oven. I was 25 weeks along but had been having contractions through the night and began bleeding, I was going into early labor.
We went to the hospital and found I was 2 cm dilated. At his tiny size he could have been delivered at 5 cm.
We spent days in the hospital getting prepared for what could be in store for us (and him) potentially having/being a micro preemie.
With a tremendous amount of prayer (from a lot of you) God kept Maverick from arriving early and he was born full term at a healthy 9lbs 4 oz. Thank you for your endless prayers. We felt them.
This time of year reminds me of the tremendous grace that God gives us. We celebrate Jesus’s birth, the ultimate grace whom through we are saved.
I look at my son during this time and am filled with humility knowing God protected our family from the pain those few days could have brought.
Instead he gave us a healthy, active, independent, rough, teddy bear of a boy. He’s strong, intelligent and brings so much joy to our lives.
Life goes on, but don’t forget the goodness of God and what He has done for you. REMEMBER His grace, His mercy, His miracles. Write them down. Write down the love that you felt.
This is only one of MANY testimonies I have of God working in my life. Even when things were incredibly difficult or tragic or when the outcome wasn’t what I wanted. Gods plan is always better than my own.
I wanted to remind you of what you did in my life with your prayers and love for my family. Thank you deeply and don’t forget what God works for your good and His glory!
Merry Christmas ❤️
