A customer had been searching for years for a blue violin vase just like one her mother once owned and reluctantly gave away decades ago.

Last week, she spotted this beautiful vase at Gingerbread and immediately scooped it up, hoping to replace a treasured piece of family history.

When she surprised her mother with it, the reaction was priceless. As they looked it over, they realized it wasnā€™t just a similar vaseā€¦

It was the actual vase!

The very same vase that had left the family in 1988.

The clue? A simple rope tied around the neck. Her father had tied it there years ago so she could hang the vase on the wall of her childhood bedroom. After 38 years, this beloved treasure had somehow found its way back home.

Stories like this remind us why we love what we do. Sometimes antiques are more than beautiful objectsā€”theyā€™re memories, connections, and little miracles waiting to happen.
