✨Fireplace transformation magic

What was once a simple fireplace wall became a custom focal point filled with warmth, texture, and functionality. From the built-in cabinetry and floating wood shelves to the soft lighting and herringbone detail, every selection was made to create a space that feels elevated yet inviting.

One of my favorite parts of this transformation is how the custom built-ins not only added beauty, but also brought balance, storage, and a more intentional design to the entire room. The layered textures, warm wood tones, and subtle lighting completely changed the feel of the space while still keeping it cozy and livable for everyday life.

It’s always such a joy helping clients take a blank wall and turn it into something that truly feels custom to their home and lifestyle. 🤍

Between returns, shipping, and random last-minute needs, I’m in there often and every single time, the experience is the same: friendly, easy, and genuinely welcoming.

It’s one of those local spots that quietly does things really well, and keeps people coming back.

Designer Insight ✨

This transformation was all about removing visual weight.

By lightening the walls and flooring, swapping bulky dark furniture for lighter tailored pieces, and adding custom built-ins, the entire room became brighter, more open, and more intentional.

Now the architecture and natural light get to be the focus 🤍

Design takeaway: when a space feels heavy, start with the largest surfaces first (walls, floors, and furniture).

It’s not about needing more, it’s about removing visual weight and making more intentional selections.

When our minds are fixed on Him, in the middle of busy days, unfinished to-do lists, and everything life brings, that’s where true peace is found.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make a space feel the most personal 🤍

For this room, we didn’t just design around function, we designed around her.

A subtle nod to her love for Taylor Swift creates a moment that feels creative, expressive, and uniquely hers… not just something to fill a wall, but something that reflects who she is in this season. 🪩

And the daisy details were layered in with intention; soft, delicate, and thoughtfully placed so they add meaning without overwhelming the space. 🌸

These are the elements that turn a room from simply “designed", into something that feels deeply personal.
