My sad little easy up really shows it’s age in the rain. Despite two dozen patches she still leaks from a few invisible holes. I’ll be replacing the tent next season, I haven’t decided what with yet though.

I can’t imagine many people will be showing up in the rain, but I wish all my fellow vendors, artists, crafters, performers, and small businesses the best of sails and tips today.

I worked a couple of very long days to get these done for last weekend. The joke was on me though, it turned out to be in the mid 80s. No one wants to buy fur trimmed armor when it’s 86 and sunny.

Mother Nature is finally acting like it’s fall. Hopefully the cool weather will encourage a sail or two.

This massive obsidian great sword is nearly impossible to fit in frame. It is back in the prop shop for some much needed repairs. The polyurethane rubber was starting to flake and peel.

As always I have half a dozen other cosplay projects going on at the same time. If I remember to post them you might even get to see some of them in the near future.

The picture doesn’t show it well, but Friday ren fair set up was done in high winds and a dust storm. A dust storm in Michigan. A day after it rained. I have never even heard of dust storms ln Michigan, and I got the pleasure of trying to put up 2 tents in the middle of one.

Our tents didn’t blow away, but I caught 2 other tents that did.
