🚨MODERN DEER FAMILY, THE POST YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR! 🚨

After an EXHAUSTING 35 days of working till midnight or 1am everyday we finally finished!! Well, almost finished, just waiting on our new storefront signage which will hopefully be installed this week if not next! We poured our hearts, souls, and every ounce of us that we had left into this new store. We are so passionate about what we do and hope y’all just love this space as much as we all do!

GRAND OPENING INFO ⬇️

10 AM this Friday & Saturday the first 12 in line will receive a tote bag filled with goodies, as well as a Modern Deer bucks to spend that day! The vouchers start at $5 and one lucky person FRIDAY & SATURDAY will get $100 in Modern Deer bucks to use that day!

Giveaways! We partnered with our vendors to bring you some fun free stuff this weekend! The first 30 customers Friday and Saturday who make a purchase get a free mug! The first 6 on Friday & Saturday who spend at least $75 on decor get a free Halloween tray, if you spend $100 you get a choice of the tray or a witches hat dip dish! Lastly If you purchase a pair of our hidden denim jeans you will get a free denim tote bag!

We have a POP UP this weekend! Our friends over at Words By Heart Jewelry will be popped up Saturday only doing permanent jewelry & layering chains on the spot! If you have shopped at a vintage market days or in our clothing store before you’ve seen their beautiful work at the register!

We will sample our frozen cocktail mixes this weekend at our new sample bar in store! We love being able to have a dedicated area for y’all to enjoy the mixes while learning about why we love them! We added soooo many new flavors like the frozen cocoa, and espresso martini!

We expanded the candle wall… it’s huge! I will do my best to keep this beast stocked, but I have made over 600 candles for this new space! We have so many new scents as well as all the regular scents y’all know and love!

Lastly (well probably not cause i’m sure I’m missing something) but we will have new hours! We will be open Sunday 11-4 & Monday-Saturday 10-6! Finally no matter what day you’re in town you can swing on by! We will be open till 8pm this Friday for Waynesville First Friday!

🚨Happy Wednesday Modern Deer Family! 🚨

Sunday will be our last day open in our decor store at 225 Wall St Waynesville, NC 28786 as we prepare for our move to our new space at 101 N Main Street! To help us out so we have less to move we will have 15% off most items in the decor store! Exclusions are 8oz hand poured candles, foaming soaps, fall & Halloween decor, and local hand made items. This deal will only be in the decor store Saturday & Sunday so if you’ve been eyeing anything come get it! We will also be sampling our all natural cocktail mixes this weekend as well!

The clothing store will stay open till August 23rd. Today we got a restock of jeans in new colors of your favorite fits. Just in time before most of the kids head back to school Monday! Mens True Classic T’s got restocked last week, as well as some new colors. We also added some new items to the 40% off sale section in the back as well!

🚨Happy Tuesday Modern Deer Family! 🚨

The time has come, if you haven’t already seen on our stories yesterday. We have some EXCITING NEWS!!! We are moving into 101 N Main St in downtown Waynesville! This was formerly know as the Minted Mercantile Space. We are excited to be able to merge our home fragrance, decor & apparel all into one space! We will also be able to move our candle & soap production, warehouse & storage units into the lower level! This was a space that was always a dream of ours and we’re excited for y’all to see what’s in store!

Our tentative grand opening is planned for the first weekend of September! We will post sneak peaks as we get moved into the space on our stories on Facebook and Instagram. We will keep our current locations open as long as possible till we need to start moving the inventory over. So keep and eye on our store hours on Google as we will keep those updated.

We are extremely honored and excited to be able to take on such a historic space in our downtown area. We have so many ideas for what we will be able to do for y’all in the new space as far as displays, windows, product assortment, and overall shopping experience!

Happy Tuesday Modern Deer Family!!!

This post is a little different than our usual posts. As many of you know we have scaled back our shows this year to be able to put our focus and energy into creating a better experience for you guys at the shows we did keep. And WOW did it pay off. By eliminating about half of our old show schedule we’ve been able to create more impactful displays for you y’all & keep the booth looking full 💅🏼

We’ve made a video showcasing our booths from this year’s spring season. Hopefully y’all love them, we’re pretty proud of how they turned out. Along with scaling back, we also increased the booth size at almost every show from a 20x20 to a 20x30.
Crazy to see what a little more wiggle room in our schedule and “larger spaces” can do 😜

Happy Thursday Modern Deer Family!

Hope y’all are ready for the weekend cause we know we are! Stop by this weekend for a sample of our new cocktails for this year. Tomorrow (Friday) we are open till 8 for the Waynesville First Friday event. Our new cocktail line Noble micks has easy all natural cocktail mixes offered in single serve pouches, or a frozen 8 cocktail bag & no blender needed! Perfect for this heat wave we’ve been having! Soaps are full and candles should be stocked tomorrow afternoon!

Next weekend we will have our Birthday bash! The downstairs home decor store turns 5 and the clothing store turns 1! So stay tuned for details on that!

Happy Thursday Modern Deer Family!

Hope y’all are having a great week so far! We have some new items in both stores for yall! French broad chocolates were restocked with new flavors in the bars and bagged treats! New journals, matches, and soaps arrived in the downstairs store. Upstairs also got a restock of journals and some new pens. Most the new journals are $13 and under! Candles and soaps are still pretty full with a restock coming next week as well. Candles are still 2 for $29 and foaming hand soaps are 2 for $16. We have new items added to sale in both stores as well! So be sure to come and see us this weekend!
