The best part of the Evelyn Dining Table is not what you notice first. It starts with a clean walnut top, but the detail worth finding is in the legs. Solid walnut drops into a U-shaped steel sled base, with a brushed brass band marking where the two materials meet.

From across the room it reads as a simple silhouette, but up close, that wood-to-metal joint is where the craft lives.

Most people pick a coffee table based on looks alone and wonder why the room still feels off. It almost always comes down to three things: height, length, and placement.

These simple rules will make the decision a lot easier.
1. Your coffee table should sit within two inches of your sofa height
2. Leave at least 18 inches of clearance between the table and your seating
3. Aim for a length that is roughly two thirds of your sofa

The George Nesting Tables are a great solution for spaces that need flexibility. Crafted from solid mango wood with natural freeform edges and black steel legs, they can nest together for a more compact footprint or be pulled apart when you need the extra surface for entertaining. We hope this before and after is as satisfying to watch as it was to live through.

After months of planning, collaboration between our team and our contractors, and a lot of work to bring this vision to life, watching it go from bare bones to a space that finally feels like Timber & Tulip made every step worth it!
