Tonight was our soft opening during first Fridays! It was great to see the community again. Weddings, events and daily deliveries keep us busy, but there is nothing like the personal experience of a flower shop.

Please visit us for regular hours Wednesday through Saturday 10 to 4 at 23 N Main (behind Leveller Brewery). We are still delivering around town Monday through Saturday. As always, feel free to order online 24/7 or call, stop in and say hello when you can! We are looking forward to serving you, our community of neighbors and friends.

We will be featuring local flowers, specialty blooms, artful things and botanical gifts. During retail hours we will have one of our talented florists ready to talk about your next floral order!

Our shop is in our adorable building right behind our old Brown’s Floral Design shop (which is now Leveller).

Sugar Magnolia Flower Company is looking for two part-time retail florists to join our team in beautiful downtown Weaverville.

If you love flowers, people, and thoughtful design, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has floral industry experience (retail preferred)
• Understands flowers, seasonality, care, and floral mechanics
• Can confidently take floral orders and help customers choose meaningful designs
• Has excellent people skills and enjoys serving our community
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage their own task list
• Is dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in creating a beautiful shop environment
• Is excited to continue learning and growing as a designer

These positions are ideal for someone beginning a career in floristry, someone returning to the industry, or an experienced florist looking for a few meaningful days each week.

Both positions are part-time with an anticipated start in late August or early September. Each role also offers the opportunity to grow into wedding and event design, working alongside our garden-inspired studio on luxury weddings and special events throughout Western North Carolina.

Welcome, new friends! I’m Hannah, owner of Sugar Magnolia Flower Company in the mountains of Western North Carolina, outside Asheville.

I’m a florist, “retired” estate gardener, and a lover of all things that grow. Here you’ll find luxury weddings, garden-inspired floral design, behind-the-scenes installation work, foraging, flower gardening/farming, and the everyday beauty of creating with nature in the Blue Ridge mountains.
