Every young entrepreneur chooses an organization to give back to. The Keith Kids Cookies selected The Salvation Army, and at the Joplin Business Expo they had the opportunity to meet with them and share why they chose to support their mission.

What an amazing day at the Joplin Small Business Expo!

Our Missouri Kids Market youth entrepreneurs did an incredible job today representing their businesses, engaging with customers, and putting their hard work into action.

One of the best parts of the day was watching them connect with other local small business owners, ask questions, learn from experienced entrepreneurs, and gain real-world business experience that simply can’t be taught from a textbook.

We are so proud of each of these young leaders and the confidence, professionalism, and creativity they displayed throughout the event.

Tonight our students had the opportunity to set up their businesses at the Joplin Small Business Expo, network with local business owners, and gain firsthand experience in a professional business environment.

They also had the privilege of hearing NBA Hall of Famer Sidney Moncrief speak about leadership, perseverance, character, and success.
