Seven years. 💙
It’s hard to put into words what that means to us.
Seven years ago, Blue Dahlia was a dream we were brave enough (or maybe just crazy enough) to chase. And the truth is, chasing a dream is scary. It’s exciting and fulfilling, but it’s also full of uncertainty, long days, hard decisions, and moments when you wonder if you’re doing the right thing.
But then YOU walk through our doors.
You say hello. You tell us how much you love the new display. You bring in a picture of the room you’re working on and ask what we think. You come back to show us how something looks in your home. You bring a friend in because you told them, “You just have to see this store.” You celebrate our milestones with us, encourage us, recommend us, and continue choosing to shop small.
And suddenly, seven years have gone by.
What started as a dream has become so much more than a store. It has given us a community of customers who have become familiar faces and, in so many cases, friends. It has given us the opportunity to do something we truly love every single day, to be creative, to help make your homes feel a little more beautiful, to celebrate life’s moments with you, and hopefully to bring a little joy into your day when you walk through our doors.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our family, our friends, our team, and every single person who has shopped with us, shared a post, attended an event, told a friend about us, offered a kind word, or simply continued to cheer us on.
You have made one of the scariest things we’ve ever done one of the most rewarding things we’ve ever done.
We love what we do. We love this little store. We love seeing all of you every day. And we are so incredibly grateful that seven years later, we still get to wake up and call this our job.
Thank you for believing in Blue Dahlia. Thank you for growing with us. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your homes and your lives.
Here’s to seven beautiful years- and to whatever comes next. 💙
With all our love and gratitude,
Angie & Alyssa
