Year in Review — 2025

Grateful for everyone who supported Serene Lights this year.

Thoughts that have stayed with me:

• Perfection is the enemy of completion.

• You can fail at what you don’t want — so you might as well take a chance on what you love.

• If everyone understood you this early, you’re dreaming too small.

In less than six months, Serene Lights grew into 135 storefronts — something that once felt very far away.

Life doesn’t pause while you’re building, so learn to be flexible and stay calm.

2025 brought a lot of change — including four moves across my family.

Two of my best friends got married.

New bonds formed. Old ones grew stronger.

The world is huge and the opportunities are endless so dream big and make it happen.

Absolutely crazy…
We’re global now! 🌎✨

These aren’t just customers — these are storefronts carrying Serene Lights.
This year has been a whirlwind of ups and downs, but it’s proven one thing: sticking with it is worth it.

After being laid off, I felt like I had something to prove. And now, seeing the countless hours finally paying off feels surreal.

What started as an idea that once felt so far away is now a real brand in 120+ storefronts since June.

And on Nov 23rd, we hit a huge milestone: we became profitable.
We’ve sold well over 3,500 units since September 2024.

This is still only the beginning — and I cannot wait for 2026.
Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of this journey.

We’re finally back — and with big news!

After wrapping up the Dallas Market Center and just three weeks on Faire, Serene Lights will now be in over 40 stores across the country (and even one in Germany!) 🇺🇸🇩🇪

It’s wild to see all these months of work finally start to pay off.

To be honest, year two of entrepreneurship feels like a completely different game. It’s a long, ever-changing road — and these are some things that have stuck with me lately:

• You’re not an expert. You can always learn from others.
• Always pivot. This whole thing is trial and error.
• Put your head down and work relentlessly — until others see, appreciate, and value what you’ve built.
• If you want something, you can make it happen.
Might take 2 years, 5 years, maybe 10.
At the end of the day, it’s about being resilient and staying in the game.
