Seasonal businesses have four months to survive twelve.

Read that again.

Four months.

Four months to generate enough revenue to carry a business through an entire year.

Four months to pay employees, cover rent, insurance, utilities, licenses, taxes, repairs, inventory, and everything else that comes with keeping the lights on.

For many seasonal business owners, there isn’t a steady stream of customers in January, February, March, or April.

There is no “we’ll make it up next month.”

There is only the season.

And yet, in today’s world, years of hard work can be impacted in a matter of minutes.

A few clicks.
A few stars.
A few words on the internet.

What many people don’t realize is that an online review isn’t just a rating.

It’s a decision someone makes about whether to visit.
It’s a family deciding where to spend their vacation dollars.
It’s an employee getting another shift.
It’s a small business owner’s ability to continue doing what they love.

Most small business owners aren’t asking for perfect reviews.
