Flash Flood Warning in Effect – City of Weslaco
The City of Weslaco is currently under a flash flood warning. Due to ongoing weather conditions, residents are strongly urged to take precautionary measures and remain vigilant.
Please stay indoors and avoid travel unless it is absolutely necessary. Driving through flooded areas is extremely dangerous and can put lives at risk. If you must be on the road, proceed with caution and reduce your speed, especially in residential neighborhoods, as fast-moving vehicles can push water into nearby homes and cause additional damage.
Residents are encouraged to avoid flood-prone areas and to stay informed by monitoring local and trusted media sources for the latest weather updates. The City of Weslaco will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available.
