Just completed the design of the next University of Florida Rag Quilt.

Custom made:
University of Michigan Rag Quilt is DONE! GO BLUE!!!!

It has been washed and dried once in cold water with lots of shedding which produces the fluffy rag seams ❤️😀. Approximate size of this quilt is 60” x 70”.

If you would like to have a quilt custom made for you, let me know. Proceeds help pay for medical expenses and additional items/supplies needed for cancer treatments.

University of Michigan quilt update

These 4 rows are done (sewn together) horizontally. I have to finish sewing the other squares together to make the rows to go in between these horizontal rows.

Current quilt order University of Michigan! GO BLUE!!!!!.

6 rows across and 7 rows down. I only laid a portion of them out but all individual squares have been quilted with an “X” since this will be a rag quilt. The bottom 6 squares that I laid out is to show what the back of each square looks like. All and all it’s 3 layers: cotton layer, flannel layer and flannel layer.

The next thing to do is to start sniping each square. 1/4” - 1/2” deep and 1/8” - 1/4” apart from each other. The closer your snips are to one another, the fluffier the seams will be.

Look what was delivered today!!!!These will make a beautiful rag quilt. The bottom right photo #5 is flannel and will make an awesome back! It’s nice and soft!

The joining of the rows and fraying of the seams have begun. This Florida State University Quilt will be done and up for sale soon enough. All proceeds will go to help offset my cancer medical expenses.

Today’s therapy 😀❤️😂. Squares are quilted together. Now to join the squares into 9-block squares. Once that is done the 9-block squares will be joined together in rows. This University of Florida quilt will be a rag quilt.
