Are you still there? 🌱 First and foremost I want to give thanks to our God for the breath of life. Deep breathing is so essential in this phase of my life. I haven’t found all of words, nor the biblical understanding to explain the fluctuation of my emotions over the past year. There have been so many births and deaths, literally and figuratively … but God has been consistent with rehearsing the promise through all of the mess. I have prayed to re-gain the creative freedom and confidence to pursue Ivy Sap again, boldly … and God went before me to return our public presence through Orchard Lake Mall’s Black Expo on 2/10/24. Thank you to everyone who supported and I can’t wait to spark something new soon 👀 if you know what I mean

New Ground 🌱

It’s incredible what a season of stillness can do. I’ve been reflecting over the past 6 months, while orienting as a new, Registered Nurse in the Surgical ICU at a Level I Trauma center. I’ve learned how to prioritize my peace as a necessity to being able to "show up" when others need support.

As many patients present restless, dependent on sedative medications too overcome physical complications, what a blessing it is for God’s presence to allow control over my mind and hands to help with the healing process.

Honestly, there’s a lot of associated fear with caretaking, but after 6 months I’ve found a rhythm and in a position to re-connect with you Claimers. I’ve missed you. Thank you for being patient and supportive behind the scenes.

Thank you for your patience before we re-launch The Ivy Sap website. Re-launch is officially set for October 22nd 🌱 God knows that I created this platform to share the voice of Christians who actually struggle in keeping our faith, let alone bringing more people to know Christ and submit their lives to Him. However, a good work is only measured by obedience and God is telling me to focus in this season on being closer to him and growth beyond e-commerce. Honesty, it’s overwhelming, between private contracts, elite investments from small business associations, workshop development … all while completing an accelerated nursing program. It’s a lot, but I’d remiss if I didn’t uphold our mantra to Take this as a reminder that resting is a form of worship, because when you stop you allow God the opportunity to provide better insight, clarity, and provision over your heart’s true desire.
