Fourth piece for 2025! This set of end tables sure have made a transformation. The client-owned tables are Ethan Allen and 💯 maple. Yet the customer wanted something a bit lighter and airier with a contrasting top. For those who have stained maple, you know it can be tricky and sometimes it doesn’t take the stain evenly or as dark as one would like. So, to steer clear of the potential blotchiness and discoloration, I painted the top in a faux wood finish using 4 colors of brown glaze to give a variety of depth like real wood. Many call this a Pottery Barn effect…usually done in lighter shades. Pottery Barn dupes are so simple to achieve-a beginner WILL be successful!

It’s so hard to show off the beauty of this coffee table, so let me give you the deets: Beautiful Mid-Century Mersman Surfboard Style Coffee Table. This particular style is very rare. Most Mersman coffee tables have 2 legs on each end but this style ( #8174) is very unique…2 legs in the middle and 1 on each end, making the table more valuable. It is made of walnut wood. Restored in a walnut stain. Serious inquiries-DM us. Dimensions- 60”L 18.5”w 15.5”H
