My husband and I just concluded an amazing weekend spent down in Carlsbad at a Reunion Retreat put together by .new.trails.retreat 💕 I have no words to express how full my heart feels as we spent time with other LEO couples from near and far, as we learned tools to better our marriages and had breakout sessions with others who just “get it”. As a double first responder family, sometimes we feel like we are alone in this season of life - working opposite schedules, raising children and still putting God at the forefront of our marriage. It’s an incredible feeling to know that we aren’t alone, that unfortunately, some have it even harder than we do, but to be given the tools to help make things better and to know that we aren’t alone in this journey. I truly recommend anyone in LEO marriages look into the opportunity to going to one of their retreats because there’s no reason to go through these hard seasons of life without support 💙
