Ripping out a bath fitter type shower. You know the ones that advertise your shower is done in one day. My client was complaining about a mold smell. This is proof of why not to do these showers. Standing water and mold under the pan they put in and mold growing up the walls. This shower “cover” was done approximately 5 years ago.

When a customer wants 80 year old heart pine floors refinished and you tell them it’s not a good idea. Between the old repairs, new repairs and just over all condition we explained they will still look very beat up. His answer was great I like that look. Well that made our job easy and a customer very happy.

Small tile and LVP install we started yesterday and completed today. This client got our number from their neighbor. Her original contractor went MIA right before her install date. She called us and we managed to squeeze her job in right before she was set to leave on a long vacation.

PSA as to why NOT to order flooring online:

Recently a customer purchased a top of the line LVP product from us 2 months ago. We were waiting for progress on the job site so the flooring could be installed. Yesterday the installation was set to start. Upon starting the install our installers noticed there was a problem with the floors locking (tongue & groove) mechanism. We contacted the representative and within 20 minutes we had someone on site to inspect and agree there is an issue. New flooring is being shipped out ASAP and hopefully within a week we will be back to getting installation done. Remember this if you think that price online is a better deal. Should there be a problem you are at the mercy of email and phone calls to get something solved. Should this have been an online purchase the client would have had to go through a lengthy process.

1.First contact where it was purchased, 2. fill out a claim form, 3. Wait for manufacturer to review claim then set up an inspection. 4. After inspection all information would then be submitted to manufacturer. 5. Only after approval of claim would the replacement process start. This whole process could easily take 4-6 week or longer.
