Selling my Laguna Smartshop Laser EX 150watt.
I got this new when I moved to Utah 2.5 years ago. I don’t have time for lasering, woodworking etc. it’s just sitting here.
Brand new this would set you back over $13k plus the upgrades.

You are also getting my air assist system, as well as the upgraded blower.
The only thing you will not get is my air compressor that is feeding air to the system.
I will not deliver unless you pay me to rent a trailer and drive it down to you.

I am only asking $8000 for this killer machine.

What should I charge the client? Details below:

Single pour 4.5 gallons 2.6” thick Ecopoxy Flowcast with Ecopoxy Liquid Black Pigment.

Temperature controlled “pour room” (unfinished basement bathroom works perfect to help keep the pour cool so it won’t overheat and get ruined)

Material cost:
Maple Burl Slab $500 ($1,000/2) so let’s say $1,000 cause the extra will never be used 😂
Ecopoxy Flowcast $600
Base legs $350
Epoxy Custom Mold $100
Rubio Monocoat finish $50
Shipping to client: $500
Total so far for the project $2600

Time & Labor to prep slab, pre-sand slab, build epoxy mold with sheathing tape, sit and watch epoxy to make sure it’s not leaking, wait till it cures 5-7 days, CNC flattening, sanding with many different sanding grits, finishing and setting up to take pictures…. $-2500 FML 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 But yet we still say yes to making them. And you all wonder why I say I HATE EPOXY 😂

150+ year old CLARO WALNUT BURL

Charcuterie Board 25x8.5x1

Got to finish this beauty today. Took me almost 1.5 years from when I put this in the mold to de-molding it a couple weeks ago just to throw it on a machine that I barely use to finally finding the motivation to sand it and oil it a few weeks later.
