When I started this business, I was using one, maybe two pitchers to make all of my products. I was using my small kitchen stovetop and cluttered my kitchen counters with supplies.

After each batch I made, I would spend over an hour cleaning everything so the kitchen was spotless. Like it never happened.

Today, I’m so grateful to have a dedicated space where I can leave my mess if I’m too tired to clean. Close the door and never think about it until I come back in here.

It doesn’t have to!

Here’s how to keep your jar clean:

Trim your wick when it starts to get build up. Your candle will last longer, smell better, and you’ll have a clean jar for refills!

When your wick has been burning for a while, it’ll start to get build up on the top. It’ll look like popcorn. All you have to do is trim off the popcorn top every once in a while.

Ok maybe that’s dramatic, but I will never blow out a candle without this dipper anymore.

Candle care is important, and dipping your wick instead of blowing the flame out will reduce the amount of smoke.

It feels life changing.

I knew there had to be an easier way so I researched like CRAZY.

I ended up finding a small business that sold silicone molds on Etsy but they didn’t have anything for the jars I was using.

I figured I’d reach out to ask them because you never know, right? Well I’m so glad I did! The owner responded and turns out, they were testing new molds for the exact jar I used!

She asked if I would test them and send my feedback. Of course I would. They were a perfect fit so then I just had to wait until they were ready to start production.

As soon as they launched them, I placed an order and started offering drop ins as soon as I could!

I still can’t believe how perfectly it worked out. The customer feedback, seeing customer interest in doing better for our environment, the mold company testing my size at the exact time that I was looking into this.

It truly was meant to work out this way.

When I started my business, I never knew I would be offering drop in refills. I never knew that was a thing that could exist. Thanks to you all for the feedback, we’re making it happen! 🫶🫶🫶

Shoutout to the Salt Lake community because I’ve never met a more supportive group of customers. You all genuinely get what goes into showing up at the farmers market every single week.

Also shoutout to Brinn and Jenna for believing in this business and being such a huge part of it. They rotate weekends with me and run the entire setup on their own so I can take weekends off with my family. 🫶

It is the best and can be the most frustrating part of this business.

I am obsessed with these melters because it is so easy to change out scents.

Just take out the silicone dish, pop out the old wax, and add your new scent.

We sold 23 of our newest fall scent in the first week after launch! I wasn’t sure how fall scents would land with it still being 100 degrees outside, but we sold 69 fall items total this week! So excited you’re all here for it!
