Yes, it’s officially late January, but I can’t bear to not complete a goal I’ve set for myself.✅

After two months of planning, I decorated the bedroom of a teen one week before Christmas.🎮 His reaction made my day! It’s encouraging to watch someone become proud of their space in real time. The young man was apprehensive initially, but as he warmed up to the idea of turning his bedroom into something cool, his attitude changed. Imagine you’re 14 years old and wondering what this organizer lady is doing in your room.😅 “This is rad,” were the first words out of his mouth. He looked around and noticed all of the details and specifically commented about each one.🥹

During a cyber Monday sale, I signed up for . This has been on my radar for the last year or so and I’m glad I did it! I received my results in early January and have already purged some clothing that wasn’t flattering on me. I’m excited to be more intentional with my wardrobe. We all get in ruts, don’t we? This was just the nudge I needed.

I took some time to purge our inventory storage unit, reorganized and delivered a drafting table to a client in Finley. They aren’t ready to move forward with their remodel yet, but we’ll be ready to pick up where we left off when they are.📋

I set my Southridge client up with new dining room furniture before Christmas. Window shades were ordered from .tricities and installed all new light fixtures and the best pull down closet rod in the laundry room! We hope to finish the main living makeover by early spring.

🎄Christmas Eve was spent with old friends. Great company, pizza and games filled my cup and fed my competitive nature. My husband and I FaceTimed our son, his girlfriend and her parents on Christmas Day and judged their gingerbread house contest. We definitely scored points by unknowingly voting hers the best! On New Year’s Eve, we enjoyed an early dinner out with new friends from church and then a quiet night at home.🏠

Goals for 2026 include updating our website with our latest design & organizing projects and return to blogging.🙏🏼

Goodbye, 2025! What a mixed bag you were.

I am so so grateful to all of the new clients I met and worked with. Thank you all for trusting me with your most personal possessions . . . your homes and everything in them.

Together, we have lifted weight off shoulders, created calm and welcoming retreats, crossed off big to do's and prepared for the year ahead. It's hard work, but so rewarding and I am honored to have a part in it.

Time flies! This was big remodel with twists and turns along the way. I think it ended up stretching from 2019-2021, for obvious reasons.

The angle of the second photo doesn't show the first arched window, but there were two in the old dining room. We divided the room in half, creating a functional mudroom right off the entry. The back half of the room became a full pantry with freezer, shelves, drawers and counter space.

What was once a barely used dining room became two work horses that are used every single day.
