I’m not mad so don’t take this wrong: Some are upset about this, but I had little choice but to cancel the sale at the house for reasons not only about safety and security, but I have not been able to get done what was needed inside to make it happen. I’m doing this all myself. We are coming up on TWO years and very little has been accomplished. We have repeatedly asked that any of the family wanting things to speak up for it.
I have saved back items some of you have requested.
I attempted Marketplace, which only amounted to a couple sales and had to be the one figuring out delivery of the items.
Many of the items are not fit for a yard sale, as they do have some worth and I don’t want to risk taking them in and out every time we need to display them. This was the reason I wanted to use the dining room as a temporary store to display the items until they sell without moving them in and out.
I’m one person dealing with a mountain in a space big enough for a mole hill (see what I did there?? Anyway 😂)…
Some items will be displayed for sale in a yard sale. Items that can’t be I’m working on checking locations of consignment shops.
As I said before, I will continue to post pictures of everything I’m cleaning and packing up as I get it done. Probably what I’ll be spending my time doing on Easter.
I’m struggling but doing the best I can.

After my visit down there yesterday, I think we are going to have to cancel holding the sale there. My uncle is having significant issues with the locals, so it’s not a good idea to open the house to the public at this time. Going to look into consignment shops but will keep posting pics for you all as I get things done.

I cleaned up some absolutely gorgeous crystal pieces last weekend! I haven’t even dug into nearly all the crystal there!

Next weekend will be cancelled. Holiday weekend plus I didn’t make it down as much as I needed to recently!
