Finished spinning this Corriedale gradient, and I’m loving how the colors shift so smoothly. This one was spun with socks in mind, but now I’m tempted to just keep it as-is and admire the transitions. 😅

It’s got a nice balance of softness and structure—definitely one of my favorite spins so far this Tour.

I didn’t get a chance to spin the past two days, but I’m back at it today! Working on some super thin singles using Corriedale wool, aiming for sock yarn if all goes well.

Spinning fine takes a little more time (and patience), but this fiber has been drafting really smoothly on the EEW6. Feeling good to be back in the groove!

Here’s the finished yarn from those merino and angora rolags I posted yesterday. I plied it up on my EEW 6.0, and I’m really happy with how the colors came through—lots of warm reds, oranges, and yellows with soft texture and a bit of fuzz from the angora.

This spin was pure joy—soft, lofty, and full of rich, glowing color. I used a merino and angora blend, and the texture is everything you’d hope for: light, fuzzy, and smooth.

The gradient shift from golden to peach to deep berry red has me thinking of long summer evenings. Can’t wait to see how this one looks plied up!

Tour de Fleece 2025 – Days 1 & 2 🚴‍♀️🧶

Starting strong(ish)! I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday, but the wheel was definitely spinning. Here’s my progress so far—this teal and plum single is coming together nicely and I can't wait to see what it looks like finished.

My goal this year is to bust through my stash and actually use some of the gorgeous fiber I’ve been collecting. So far, so good!
