Joyfully Crafting

Joyfully Crafting While COVID forced the storefront close, we are still around and serving the western suburbs! We loo I love to share my discoveries and see people light up!

Hi, I created Joyfully Crafting to share my joy in teaching and creating all types of projects.

It has been quite a while since I've posted or updated here - October 2021 saw the studio close due to COVID. October 2022 brought significant health issues to my mom. She came to my home in November 2022 for hospice and passed away in July 2022. Due to all these events, I've not focused on crafting or teaching in the past 18 months. Additionally, I have realized that I have a different path to follow - that as an End of Life Facilitator and Grief Transformation Coach. This page and related content will be closed on 3/31/23. If you have reached this page beforehand, have crafting questions or general comments, please DM me instead of posting here since I will not be checking this page directly. Thank you.

Tomorrow, May 1 is National Scrapbook Day! During the past year, a lot of us took pictures to 'remember'. Where are those pictures now? How about making a scrapbook or junk journal? Anyone interested to celebrate the ENDING of this crazy, challenging, growth-filled year?

Session will include supplies and a bit of spiritual insight as we create. If interested, I'll be holding crafting sessions in my Joyfully Crafting Shebow Chuck put together for me. Thinking of early evenings or a weekend afternoons.

COVID safe - we'll be outdoors (sorta) inside a gazebo where the windows open, fresh air and sheltered. Limited to three guests at a time. Masks required if you've not been vaccinated yet.

Cost - $35 for supplies and refreshments (water, tea, coffee)

If interested, IM me with day of week and time of interest along with refreshment.

Our Story

Hi, I created Joyfully Crafting to share my joy in teaching and creating all types of projects. I love to share my discoveries and see people light up! The studio is a place to PLAY, experiment and try new things. Most crafters like to dabble, but it becomes very expensive to do so. By becoming a member of the studio, crafters can come and try out a whole variety of toys just to see if they might like them. There are also monthly classes which vary each month and can include papercraft, needlework, mixed media, jewelry, pottery, mosaics and more. (Yes! I am a joyful, serial crafter - LOL)

In addition to teaching and crafting, the studio offers members the opportunity to offer their creations to the public. Meet the crafters, discover their joy and support the lovely and often practical, items they create.
