Do you have a gas fireplace, pellet stove, fire pit or grill? If so, when's the last time you had it serviced or cleaned? Does it even work? Preventative maintenance is the key to having a reliable and safe stove. gas stoves, grills and fire pits gather Spider webs and dust in its burner and pilot tubes. This in turn clogs orifices causeing weak- low flames and even a delayed ignition ( loud burst ) when starting the unit. In addition, soot can build up due to bad combustion/ air flow or bad log placement.As for pellet stoves, it is recommended that you have the flue cleaned out every ton of pellets that you burn. In addition, motor's on the back of the unit gather dust causing them to die sooner the they should. At Farr's Fire place Services, We will have your stove clean and back in working order.
In addition we do safety checks on each visit to insure there are no leaks and that your unit is burning as clean as possible, eliminating soot build up.
