What a difference a designer makes!

After 15 years of struggling to make their home’s first floor work for them, our clients decided to renovate rather than move. Years of buying furniture that never quite fit had not solved the underlying problem: a floor plan that simply wasn’t working.

The dining room is a perfect example of what a difference thoughtful space planning can make. As part of the first-floor renovation, we reworked the layout to improve flow and create a better connection between the dining room and surrounding living areas. We even removed a closet to make room for a custom built-in bar, adding both function and a dedicated spot for entertaining.

Working closely with the contractors, we helped bring the new layout to life, completing the space with updated furnishings, finishes, and lighting that complement the home’s lighter, more open feel.

The result is a dining room that feels connected to the rest of the home, with added features that make entertaining easier and a first floor that finally works for the way our clients live.

Considering a home renovation in Westfield, NJ? Our full-service interior design and expert space planning can help you make the most of the home you already have.

Bam! Our studio is officially Mahjong-ready with the arrival of this gorgeous game table, finished in a richly textured, lacquered heavy linen and complete with drawers on each side to keep all your game-night essentials close at hand.

Add some Mahjong-inspired accessories and unique décor pieces, and we can help you style a game room that feels pulled together, personal, and fun.

Custom game tables are a favorite in our designs, and for good reason. They’re as versatile as they are stylish. When the tiles are put away, the table can easily become a spot for homework, afternoon snacks, or gathering with family and friends.

Because the best rooms aren’t just beautiful. They’re made to be lived in and enjoyed!

Thinking about creating a game area in your home but not sure where to start? We’d love to help you bring it to life.

Smart design is all about the little details that make a kitchen work better for you.

Take this pop-up outlet built into the island, giving you easy access to power when you need it. Then there’s the utility cabinet next to the refrigerator. It gives the vacuum, broom, and other cleaning essentials a designated home, with hooks for hanging items and everything tucked neatly out of sight. And of course, a dedicated utensil drawer keeps everyday essentials organized and within reach.

As designers, we help our clients think through these details from the start, making sure every part of a kitchen renovation works as hard as it can for how they live.

Meet Gina, our Studio Assistant. “From tracking orders to managing our inventory, I keep the studio organized. You can also find me on site with Joanne and Marty during styling and installation days. When I’m not at Elements, I’m usually busy watching my boys at the hockey rink or on the baseball field. In my free time, I enjoy working out and cooking Italian food for friends and family.”

We fell for this fabric the moment we saw it and knew we had to find the perfect place to use it.

The pattern, texture, and warm, earthy tones of this tailored upholstery found their home on this classic club chair. Set against the neutral palette of our client’s living room, it adds just enough visual interest to give the space a tailored look without overpowering the room.

Set beside the brass side table and paired with a touch of olive velvet, the chair brings together the room’s mix of warm tones and rich textures. A favorite fabric, now in exactly the right spot.
