Stopped to see the new owners of our building. They are so nice! The store smells amazing! You must go see all of the wonderful soaps, bath bombs, and other goodies they have to offer.

Spotty cell service in the mountains. Here are some pictures from the last few days. We love the lakes and mountains and the Tetons did not disappoint. Spending another day in Yellowstone before heading back. Hope to see some wildlife today.

Out West trip 2021
Yesterday we drove through the Badlands. It was the first time for the kids. Tonight we’ll be camping right outside of Yellowstone. 😃

In our country there is much division and hate over many things. Today, remember there are enemies that hate us more.
Stand together as Americans. Love your neighbor. (Even when you don’t agree)
Pray for our country. Pray for the world. The only true difference among us is good and evil.

We said goodbye to our building today. Many tears, remembering all of the wonderful memories we made here. All of the relationships we made with our customers, our community, our family. This was our home.
As we head back to South Dakota, our new home, I am grateful for the time we had and the lessons we learned. We were blessed by this business and we pray that God will bless the next business that comes in after us.

One year ago on this day, we were spending Spring Break in South Dakota to make the very big decision to move our family there, so that James could attend the Timothy Pastoral Apprenticeship.
The last year has been quite the journey trying to make it happen.
Update: with closing the store, Covid and having the first sale of our business fall through (amongst other hang ups), we were set back, but not deterred. James has been working as a carpenter in Sioux Falls for a month and remodeling our apartment in Baltic. I’m still home spending my time getting the kids through virtual school.
It has been difficult to live apart, but we know God has big plans for us and we are doing our best to have patience and faith.
We would appreciate your prayers for strength and that our building will sell, so that we can continue on with our next chapter.
