We are a woman owned interior design / build firm specializing in tenant improvements, hotel design, residential design and construction such as kitchen and bath remodels, room additions and any form of construction. We also specialize in tenant improvement, retrofitting home and offices for the handicapped, aging and senile. I have appeared on HGTV, Channel 7 Eyewitness news and many magazines. We have our own crew to do as little as a window treatment to as big as a total remodel.

Most people set up their homes backwards.
Let me share some valuable tips from my years of experience.
1-Start with layout and function

2-Choose your surfaces- Paining, flooring, large area rugs come next. Once the large items are set up, these items act as the room backdrop.

3-Now buy your furniture. Always need a layout first to make sure it will all fit.Make sure your coffee table is in proportion to the sofa scale.Choosing furniture third means you are selecting pieces that fit in the parameters you have already defined.

4-Layer light sources, sconces, overhead lighting, focus on lamps. Lighting is what makes a room feel finished.

5-Decor or accessories come last. When everything is where you want it, then you may shop for decorative objects, artwork and accessories.
At this stage you are layering personality, your personality into a room that already fundamentally works.
