From working with existing hardwood to achieving a cleaner, more refreshed look, there are several factors to consider before starting your next flooring project. Understanding your floor’s condition, plank style, and overall finish can help you make the right decision for your home.

Prefinished hardwood offers a beautiful, durable flooring option with a factory-applied finish, making installation more efficient and eliminating the need for on-site sanding and finishing. With a variety of wood species, colors, and styles to choose from, it’s an excellent option for homeowners looking to achieve a timeless look with less disruption during installation.

At Hoffman Floor & Home, we help you find the right flooring for your space, combining quality materials with expert installation for results built to last.

When comparing glue-down LVT vs. interlocking (click-lock) LVT, it’s important to understand that each installation method offers different benefits depending on your space, subfloor, and long-term needs.
• Glue-down LVT is adhered directly to the subfloor, creating a secure, low-profile installation that can be a great option for high-traffic areas and commercial spaces.
• Interlocking LVT uses a click-lock system, allowing the planks to connect without being glued directly to the subfloor.

So, which is right for your home? It comes down to your specific project, the condition of your subfloor, and how the space will be used. Proper subfloor preparation and professional installation are key to helping your flooring look great and perform as it should for years to come. At Hoffman Floor and Home, we help you understand your options so you can make an informed decision with confidence.

Have questions about which LVT flooring is best for your space? Send us a message, we’re happy to help!
