Many of you may not know this, but I try to live my life as sustainably and eco-conscious as I possibly can. My favorite way to do this? Utilize the supplies and materials that I already own, or come by second hand to make my various creations. My plant curtain is just my latest creation.
I found the accordion coat rack months back for $4! Two months of staring at it finally resulted in inspiration. I realized this rack had so many pegs that if I hung a plant from almost every one they would get all the ☀️ they want and double as a curtain of sorts for my dining room.
The eclectic assortment of pots I have collected over the years from various thrift shops, turning them into functioning planters by drilling drainage holes.
The twine came from the Buy Nothing page for my town. I experimented with amount and length of twine, and the best knot location for the various pot styles and was able to successfully create all of my own hangers!
