We’ve been quiet here for a few weeks. My husband’s father passed away quite suddenly three weeks ago today. As a family we’ve been living thru the whirlwind of travel & grieving & remembering & celebrating that comes along with the loss of such a dear one. He was a brilliant architect, a bon vivant, a lover of beauty in its many forms, and as such was instrumental in the growth & success we’ve experienced at Gatherings in these most recent years. His touch & vision are evident throughout our studio space.
*A huge Thank You to our clients who’ve uniformly been deeply kind and incredibly patient while we’ve taken a pause. Your grace has truly made this time easier to bear.
*And heaps & heaps of thanks & many hugs to the team at Gatherings who have each stepped in & stepped up with their gentle hearts & great talents to keep the work moving forward over these last few weeks. We couldn’t have gotten thru these last two busy weekends of homecoming without them! (A special hat tip to .s.studio, who created the lovely cuff corsage featured in this post.)
