Today we are highlighting the two women who brought Almost Heaven Candle Company to life, Holli and Natalie!

Candles have been a huge part of their lives - birthdays, celebrations and holidays, even just having one lit after the house has been cleaned.

When Natalie returned home from college, she was so surprised to see all the candles were gone. Due to the harmful chemicals candles can contain, Holli experienced headaches and had to stop burning candles to get relief.

While on vacation in their home state of West Virginia, the two were so inspired by the scents that surrounded them. Natalie and Holli wanted to be able to take the scents home with them.

And that’s how we came to be! Using clean ingredients and the inspiration from the magic of the mountain state to create chemical-free, high quality candles.

Next up on our Artist Spotlight, we have our very own, Ananga Martin 🫶🏼

Ananga Martin is an orange groves to Appalachia singer-songwriter living in West Virginia. She loves to explore the idea of “home.” She is deeply inspired by her inner and outer landscapes, and tries to understand how they are connected through songwriting and art. A mother and grandmother, Ananga can usually be found outside tending a fire and talking with the trees. She speaks best in song, and hopes her voice will contribute to the greater good and collective liberation of all living beings. She has released two albums, Moonlight & Fire (2019) and Santa Ana (2023).
