Some of you may have noticed that we’re no longer Elly & Oliver Bard.
Today, we’re excited to introduce our new name: Ginger Crocodile Artisan Farmstead.
The story behind it began as a simple family joke. Over time, however, it became something much more meaningful. Whenever we finished creating something, whether it was a candle, a woodworking project, a body care product, or any other handcrafted item, it would go through one final quality check. If it met our standards, it earned a special approval in our family: “Approved by the Ginger Crocodile.”
What started as a joke slowly became a symbol of quality, care, craftsmanship, and pride in our work. It came to represent the values we bring to everything we make.
As our business grew, we realized that our old name no longer reflected who we are today. We have expanded beyond candles and now create a variety of handcrafted goods inspired by farmstead living, from artisan products and woodworking to herbal creations and natural body care. We wanted a name that could grow with us while staying true to the heart of our business.
Ginger Crocodile Artisan Farmstead is more than a new name. It represents our commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship, natural living, quality over quantity, and products made with care. The name is new, but the values remain the same.
