McKinley Architecture and Engineering was proud to donate to and support the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center () with their National Pizza Party Day fund-raising event. All proceeds will be used to help the 89-year-old nonprofit provide life-changing medical rehabilitation therapies, medical services, and autism testing for Ohio Valley children.

We enjoyed delicious pizza and cheese breadsticks from Pizza Express in Bridgeport (along with strawberry pretzel salad for dessert made by employee Ashley Subasic).

A licensed Professional Engineer, David B. McKinley was an accomplished businessman with four decades of engineering and management experience. In his 30-plus year career as President of West Virginia’s largest engineering and architectural design firm, he had been involved in $1.2 billion in construction projects. McKinley built a reputation of pragmatic and economical solutions to design problems. He had a wide range of experience with institutional, commercial and industrial projects. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Mary and the entire McKinley family as we mourn the passing of our founder, friend, and guiding presence, David B. McKinley, who passed away on Friday, April 17.

David founded this company with a vision grounded in integrity, relationships, and genuine care for people. What began under his leadership became more than a business—it became a culture rooted in trust, collaboration, and doing the right thing, values that continue to guide us today.

Beyond his role as our founder, David was a lifelong friend to many within our organization. He was generous with his time, steady in his counsel, and deeply invested in people. His impact extended far beyond his professional accomplishments and will be felt for generations.

We also recognize the profound loss felt by David’s son, David H. McKinley, whose leadership continues to carry forward the principles his father established from the very beginning.

In the days ahead, we plan to share a longer memorial honoring David’s life and legacy. For now, we remember him with gratitude and respect. ❤️

🌟 Celebrating Agriculture and Student Success in Tyler County! 🌟

McKinley Architecture & Engineering is proud to have supported the students of Tyler County Schools at the 76th Annual Tyler County FFA Ham, Bacon, and Egg Sale! 🥓🍳

This year, we were excited to purchase items including the Grand Champion Farmers Basket and the Tyler FFA Scholarship Bacon, contributing to a total of $83,895 raised to support the students and their programs. The incredible creativity, dedication, and skill of the students and staff were on full display—bringing these amazing products to life in the new Linda L. Hoover Memorial Agricultural Sciences Building, recently completed by our MKA team on the Tyler Consolidated High School campus.

Patrick Rymer, AIA, ALEP, who attends this event every year, was joined this time by his sons to experience the excitement and community spirit firsthand. It’s inspiring to see hands-on agricultural education thriving and to support the next generation of farmers and community leaders. We’re proud to be part of their story! 😊
