Lighting has the power to completely transform the way a wedding feels.
For this reception at Whitby Castle, we layered crystal table lamps with pleated glass shades, ribbed candle columns, and lush, dimensional florals featuring sculptural calla lilies and architectural anthurium. A palette of white, green, and burgundy added richness without overwhelming the space, allowing every element to work in harmony with the venue’s timeless architecture.

Rather than relying on a single focal point, we designed each table to contribute to the overall atmosphere, creating a reception that felt warm, refined, and inviting from every perspective.

Blending modern design with heritage-inspired elements creates a balance that feels both timeless and fresh.

For this wedding at Whitby Castle, we paired a palette of white, burgundy, sage, and chartreuse to create a design that felt modern with a vintage twist. Sculptural florals, layered candlelight, and thoughtfully balanced proportions brought depth and character to the space while complementing the architecture of the venue.

Long before installation day, every floral recipe, color relationship, and design element was carefully considered so the finished space felt cohesive from every angle.

Beautiful receptions aren’t defined by how much décor fills the room. They’re defined by how the room makes people feel.

For this intimate reception at Pera Soho, every design decision was made with intention. Individual white roses, candlelight, and deep green accents created a tablescape that felt refined without overwhelming the space.

One of the advantages of a more intimate celebration is the opportunity to focus on the guest experience. With fewer tables, each one becomes part of a larger story, encouraging conversation, creating warmth, and allowing every detail to contribute to the atmosphere.

Thoughtful wedding design isn’t about adding more. It’s about understanding which elements will have the greatest impact and allowing them to work together beautifully.

Some wedding destinations become part of the story. Manhattan is one of them.

Tucked away in the heart of SoHo, Pera Soho offers an intimate courtyard that feels worlds away from the city’s energy. Yet just beyond its gates, the unmistakable character of New York becomes part of the celebration.

One of the things we love most about designing city weddings is embracing the location rather than competing with it. Timeless white florals allowed the architecture, iconic yellow taxi, and surrounding streets to become an extension of the wedding itself, creating a celebration that felt effortlessly elegant and undeniably New York.
