I'd like to share this incredible booklet by J.J. Moorman. He was the resident physician at The Greenbrier in the 1880's. He spent decades analyzing the various waters at The Virginia Springs as well as the variety of ailments the waters cured. This 35 page booklet was produced when Harrison Phoebus was the proprietor of The Old White in 1883. Mr. Phoebus only managed the hotel for one year as he fell ill and passed in 1885.

Dry Creek Antiques is continuing to build the finest collection of vintage Greenbrier in the area. I currently have a large selection of Greenbrier Christmas ornaments as well as Greenbrier Dorothy Draper china. I prefer the vintage "Briar" pattern and have some of the nicest pieces at this time! Here is a unique brandy sniffer or maybe could be used as shot glasses! I have fourteen that would be neat conversation pieces for your local bar! The Colonial Club was a unique property off The Greenbrier grounds frequented by some guests! The illegal gambling hall was raided by The FBI back in the 60's! Hope someone can use these fascinating glasses that bring back memories!

Merry Christmas to all and so thankful for my buyers who make my fun side business successful! Hope all have a blessed New Year and many to come! Also, I've been reaching out to my collectors and knowledgeable friends on Greenbrier collectibles. I've never seen a plate quite like this at the hotel with its kelly green appearance and gold band. If anyone knows the venue for this 1979 plate please share!!!

It's a nice stroll through The Greenbrier and you round the corner of The Forum and you'll see the remarkable display case of Dorothy Draper's legacy at The Greenbrier! These rare cards are in the display and I'm glad to say I have a set available at Dry Creek Antiques! I understand these cards were sold at The Greenbrier in the late 40's and early 50's. I always recommend a stroll at The Greenbrier looking at displays and at the museum! Merry Christmas!

Here is s real neat find that I wanted to share with everyone! I understand that Snead had his own shop down the corridor at The Greenbrier and this was purchased in that shop around the year 2000! I would love to figure out where the #8 hole was located on the old Greenbrier Course! The Greenbrier holds many mysteries, some that can be solved and others that remain unsolved! The layout of the original Greenbrier course is probably on some old program or other piece of memorabilia! I enjoy bringing these finds back home and offering to the local community!
