🌟 MEET THE DEALERS — WEEK ONE! 🌟
We’re starting something NEW at Urban Ju**ie, and I’m so excited about it!
If you’ve ever walked through our doors and wondered, “Who finds all this cool stuff?” or “Who makes all these amazing goodies?” — we’re going to introduce you! ❤️
Urban Ju**ie wouldn’t be Urban Ju**ie without the incredible group of dealers, makers, bakers, treasure hunters and small-business owners who fill our shop with personality.
And let me tell you… we have some GOOD ones! 🥰
So each week, we’re going to introduce you to a couple of the people behind the booths and products you love.
First up, we have Songbird Lane Farm and Goat & Garden Co.! 🌿🐐🐦
These two ladies are a perfect example of what makes Urban Ju**ie so special. They’re creative, hardworking, a little vintage-loving, a little homesteading, and both have a passion for things that are handmade, homegrown and full of a story.
Here we’ll introduce you to each of them and give you a peek at the person behind the booth!
Because when you shop Urban Ju**ie, you aren’t just buying something off a shelf…
❤️ You’re supporting real people, real families, and real small businesses right here in our community.
Stay tuned — you’re going to LOVE getting to know our dealers!
And to all of our Urban Ju**ie dealers… YOU are what makes this place so awesome! ❤️
Here are our first 2 dealers!!!
Meet Eileen- Songbird Lane Farm
A little about me, I grew up in Ohio moved to Florida moved to Texas moved to Canada and then back home to Texas. I've been a most of my life, but this last move to Whitesboro we downsized the house and upsized the property, with the intent to embrace county life! We grow produce and herbs and have 30 laying hens, 2 barn kitties, one big dog, and hopefully bees in the future.
My hobby is birdwatching, we have all types of feeders & birdbaths and birds galore! This is the inspiration for our business name Songbird Lane Farm.
One of my favorite childhood memories in Ohio was going to the Amish flea market with my Grandmother. I loved looking at all the vendors table with old dishes, jewelry, and collectibles. Oh if I only knew then what I know now! We would also load up on homemade bread, cheeses, farm fresh produce. There was always a project when we got home - canning, making soap, candles, candy, etc.! This formed my love of vintage treasures and homemade foods & products.
I love the thrill of the hunt, the research, and learning the history of treasures for my booth at Urban Ju**ie! My both is eclectic, you just never know what you might find in there! If I had to pick a favorite it would be garden decor.
I'm also in The Pantry and specialize in freeze dried products. I also offer snack & chocolate items, jams, and baked goods again a bit of everything!
I am so blessed to be part of Urban Ju**ie, I have made so many new friends there! Stacey, Clay, and Aimee are the best to work with and treat everyone like family.
Meet Melissa- Goat & Garden Co.
❤️ A little about me
I’m Melissa, the face behind Goat & Garden Co., a small family homestead business here in North Texas.
Goat & Garden really grew out of my love for slowing down, making things the old-fashioned way, and finding ways to use what we grow around our little homestead. What started with making elderberry syrup for our family eventually turned into a whole collection of small-batch herbal products — and somehow, a bunch of goats became part of the story too. 😂🐐
Our little herd has a lot of personality, and they’re actually a huge part of the heart behind Goat & Garden. My favorite part of sharing this business is letting people see that these aren’t products coming off an assembly line. They’re made in small batches, by hand, with ingredients I genuinely love and use myself.
At Urban Ju**ie, you’ll find a little bit of the Goat & Garden world — herbal creams and salves, bath soaks, lip balms, vanilla goodies, tinctures and other handmade treasures. I also love adding a few vintage and estate-sale finds to my booth because, well… we’re in an antique shop! 😉
❤️ A fun fact about me…
I never really set out to build a business like this. I just kept making things I loved, people kept asking if they could buy them, and eventually I realized…
Oh. I think I have a business. 😂
And honestly, one of the greatest parts has been the people I’ve met along the way — especially the other small-business owners and makers I’ve gotten to know through markets and Urban Ju**ie.
So if you see me in the shop, come say hi! I’d love to tell you about the goats, let you smell something, answer questions, or just visit for a minute. ❤️
