Hey everyone! As most of you already know, our lease was up on our beautiful Philadelphia St location and with the passing of our sweet girl, Olive, we decided to close our doors for a little while to give ourselves a much needed break. We had an amazing 2 years there + met so many amazing people that we now consider friends because of it. •••• So to answer a few popular questions, “why?” - I hope the beginning of this caption answered that for you. “Business was tough, huh?” - Yes, but we weren’t struggling. People sent us their sympathy but the truth is, we are happy about this decision. It was the right move for us at this time in our lives. And “when + where will you be relocating to?” Ultimately, we would love to look for another location with more foot traffic; that was something we struggled with the most. If somewhere on Greenleaf permits for us, that would be incredible. As far as when, we’re going to enjoy the holidays together and start looking for a new place in the new year. •••• In the meantime, I will be doing small pop ups around Whittier for the holiday season. >>> I have an event on November 25th at the . I will have a booth there along with tons of other amazing vendors. I’ll have plants, pots + gifts galore! The event is from 10am-4pm so come bright and early to get first dibs on your favorite houseplants. I will also be working on my webstore during this time, allowing people to purchase gifts and plants online. When that launches, you’ll all be the first to know. 2 more days left at our shop! We are running very low on plants, we probably only have 5-6 left total but we do have a lot of pottery, jewelry, gifts, candles, clothing + more! Today I am offering 40% off the remainder of the plants in shop + 30% off everything else! We’re open 11-6 today, see you soon!

We received a ton of beautiful messages from our customers and followers in regards to us closing our doors. It was a difficult decision but we had to do what was best for us at this moment in our lives. We want to address that we will be back sometime next year (in a different location) and that we will still be doing pop ups and farmers markets in the mean time. Our last day here will be Saturday the 10th and already almost half the shop was wiped out yesterday. So if you’re looking for some early christmas gifts, plants, ceramics, clothing, leather goods, candles and much more, stop by today from 1-6p and pick something up; the ENTIRE store is 30% off! BIG NEWS: Hello everyone, we have some bittersweet news. This will be our last week at our brick & mortar. We have reached the end of our lease and made the decision to close our doors for now. This was an extremely difficult decision, but we feel it’s best based on what’s going on with our personal lives. We don’t know when we’ll reopen, but you all will be the first to know. Alexander Robert & Olive + Eden will continue as an online store. Our last day open will be Saturday, November 10th and we will be having a sale on select items until we close. We will also be listing store fixtures for sale as well. I will also be popped up at the on 11/25 in Uptown Whittier from 10a-4p! Come down for some Christmas shopping and to say hello to us! Thank you all for supporting our dreams all this time. We will miss you all.

I can’t help how much I love Marantas 😫😫😫 My heart skips a beat when I see the shop full of them! HUGE restock coming tomorrow for this weekend! The Dia De Los Mu***os festival in Uptown Whittier is this Sunday from 10-6p and we’ll be open the entire duration of the fest! Come see some beautiful art, painted faces, culture and grab yourself a plant while you’re at it! PS. We’re open today from 10-6p, swing by! 🌿

We visited while we were in Portland last week! This little gem is hidden behind and it’s space did not disappoint! I love supporting local nurseries and plant shops everywhere we travel to. I love getting inspired by the simplicity that is houseplants. They make every day a little better for me and my anxiety and for that, I am grateful 🌿 @ Portland, Oregon
