Carol Castro Ceramics is a new complete pottery studio located in downtown Wichita Falls! The studio features the Paint Your Own Pottery Parlour with hundreds of bisque items ready to glaze. There are four workstations for handbuilding clay, tabletop and floor model wheels to rent, and CLASSES, CLASSES, CLASSES every day of the week except Sunday. Party Opportunities Every Saturday! a wide array of products for sale! These range from earthenware ceramic beads, necklaces, pendants, and earrings to stoneware mugs, bowls, and many other functional pots. Carol produces stoneware mosaic tile on many platforms like concrete outdoor furniture and stepping stones, to framed mosaics on wood or in wooden trays. Walk-ins for classes are welcome and so are custom orders. The studio also offers monthly memberships to save money and allow for building of an educational community of potters.

ATTENTION BRIDES AND GROOMS TO BE! Here is the most unique wedding guest registry that doubles as an activity at your wedding! Have your guests sign their name, doodle, or give advice with a glaze pen on the Mr. & Mrs. 11 x 14 inch ceramic platter. Return the platter to us for clear glazing, forever memorializing those sentiments on a useful keepsake vessel. We envision a separate table at your venue with an attendant to guide the guests with the pens, which are really quite easy to use.

We have 50 Stroke N Coat colors to choose from for the pens, surely one of them will match your wedding theme. We are really excited to offer this very unique item in our Pottery Parlour! $60 for platter and firing. $7 for glaze filled pens, with the option to return pens for refund.

Summer is here, and we offer kids a pottery class and parents a break each Wednesday afternoon in June and July. We have plenty of openings left for WE ARE CLAY, THE SOUND OF CLAY, AND TREASURES IN CLAY JARS. Please register NLT the Tuesday before each class so we can prepare.

There are eight spots total for each class. Four spots can be booked by random individuals. The 4 remaining spots must be purchased as part of the discount packages. Find the 4-pack booking under June 3 and July 8.

We appreciate the interest in the wheel throwing class, AT THE POTTER'S HOUSE. However, let me present some food for thought. Children's first experiences with clay should be successful and not stressful. Throwing on the wheel can be stressful and challending for adults, let alone children. Our team has worked hard developing lesson plans and samples for the first 3 classes which involve sculpture and coil building. Children can easily do these things with guaranteed success, resulting in children likely developing a love for clay. Please consider these factors. Also, children are more than welcome to take any of our regular Thursday wheel throwing classes.

EIGHT ON A DATE, offered on Fridays 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., gives up to 8 people (four couples) a chance to create a large pot from separate smaller pots. Sometimes the assembly takes a little marriage counseling. Sometimes we offer a quiz game competition as a fair way to divide the individual pots between couples. Sometimes, one of the partners has to get on the potter's wheel and trim things for a proper fit. We just never know and are always surprised at the creations two people make at Eight on A Date!

A crew of mental health professionals from Region Nine enjoyed a unique Pinch Pot Party recently. Judging by those smiles, they found some happiness in extruding dirt between their thumbs. After creating the pots, the crew move to the Pottery Parlour and used our Stroke N Coat wonderglaze as an Underglaze on the fresh clay!
