Today, on the first day of Pride Month, we are proud to share Protect the Dolls.

What began as a conversation became a collaboration between artists, volunteers, friends, and community members who believed in the simple idea that visibility matters.

To the models who trusted us with this project, thank you.

To everyone who helped bring it to life, thank you.

And to every person who has ever wondered if there was a place for them:

You are seen.
You are valued.
You belong.

Beginning June 5, Protect the Dolls shirts will be available, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Camp Sunflower and its mission to provide affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth.

Because none of us got here alone.

Because there’s a seat at the table for everyone.

Tees available now on www.pittiepile.com.

There’s a seat at the table for everyone.

This June, we’re celebrating PRIDE as part of Wichita’s First Friday Art Crawl on June 5—hosted inside fernaCHer.

We’re creating an evening centered around community, creativity, connection, and celebration—and we’re still looking for a few additional artists, makers, small businesses, and market vendors to join us.

If you create something meaningful, expressive, beautiful—or simply believe in building spaces where everyone belong—we’d love to hear from you.

DM us for participation details.

REAL good humans.

One of the best parts of Pittie Pile? Seeing our message out in the world.

If you’ve grabbed one of our Good Human shirts—or any Pittie Pile apparel—we’d LOVE to see it.

Drop your photo in the comments or send us a DM. We’re starting a customer feature series because this community deserves the spotlight.

Because honestly? Being a good human still matters.

As small business week comes to an end, we wanted to remind you that small businesses employ 45% of the US workforce, and contribute to the GDP at around 44%. They are vital to the US economy- be sure to shop your locally owned small business this weekend

Another little bundle of good headed to Georgia recently.

Every order still stops me for a second.

Because yes—we’re shipping a shirt.

But more than that? We’re shipping a message. A reminder. A little piece of advocacy wrapped in tissue paper and tied with intention.

You didn’t just buy a tee. You backed something that matters.

Thank you for choosing to spend your dollars with purpose, for believing small businesses can say something meaningful, and for helping us turn conversation into action.

Georgia, thank you for supporting small businesses and helping us spread the word that it’s about being a good human!!

A room refresh can be far more attainable than people think.

Design isn’t reserved for full gut renovations and six-figure budgets.

Sometimes what a home needs is a fresh perspective, strategic edits, and a designer who knows where to invest—and where not to.

This living room refresh happened this week.

If your space isn’t working for you anymore, let’s change that.

Now booking consultations. DM JWD to begin.

Tonight’s dinner was one of those “use what’s in the kitchen and hope for the best” kinda meals. 😂

We had beef, beets, red cabbage, carrots, potatoes and onion that all needed used, so it turned into a pantry stew simmering in the cast iron for a couple hours while Mexican cornbread baked in the oven.

Honestly… meals like this usually end up tasting better than the ones you plan all week for.

It reminded me a lot of my grandma’s cooking. She always had something going on the stove or something canned up in the pantry from the garden. Nothing fancy. Just feeding people with what you had and making it work anyway.

And yes, the cornbread absolutely got dropped into the stew bowl before I finished eating it. That part is mandatory.

Pantry Stew:
• beef stew meat
• beets
• red cabbage
• carrots
• potatoes
• onion & garlic
• broth
• salt, pepper, paprika
• splash of vinegar at the end

Let it simmer low until everything is tender and mash a few potatoes into the broth to thicken it up.

Mexican Cornbread:
• Jiffy
• cheddar cheese
• Rotel
• jalapeños

That’s it. Nothing complicated tonight. Just warm food and a full kitchen.

Last night we had sweet & sour chicken.

Not from scratch. Panda Express sauce.

But we cooked the chicken right—kept it crispy. Let the onions and pineapple get a little color in the pan. Adjusted the sauce just enough so it didn’t taste so… bottled.

Rice stayed simple.

It reminded me a lot of design, honestly.
It’s usually not about starting over. It’s about taking what’s already there and making it work better.

Most spaces don’t need more. They just need to come together.

Recipe’s in the comments if you want it.
