Dark, Masculine, Creative. These are the 3 words that this client used to describe their design style. I think we captured it?!

Here is just a little sneak peek into a project that is to come....can't wait to share more details on this beautiful little wetroom- we are truly pulling some inspiration from the European lifestyle for this design and we are ecstatic to see final results!

Let's get to know each other a little bit...

Hi, I'm Abby Smith- Interior Designer and owner of Even the Lilies. Here's a simple summary of what brought me into the world of Interior Design!

I’ve had a passion for design for as long as I can remember. As a child, I loved dreaming and drawing anything fashion, nature, and home. I often found myself repainting the walls or rearranging my room to fit into the new vision I had before me- from my mind of "endless possibilities." It wasn’t long until at the age of 18, I was standing face to face with the infamous life question- “what do you want to do with your life.” I floated around aimlessly for a time, trying to find the answer to that question that plagued my mind. Slowly but surely, that dim lightbulb became bright… I discovered the answer. I am forever indebted to my family for helping me realize that I had some real talents and strengths that led me to the world of INTERIOR DESIGN. Once I jumped in the new direction, I never doubted that it was truly something I could see myself doing for my career. The passion I have for creating beauty and helping people achieve their home goals is so strong and an absolute delight in my life.

Here I am, many years later, With a degree in Interior Design and Kitchen and Bath Design, starting to live out the dreams of childhood Abby.

Who are "Even the Lilies"? What services do they provide? These might be a few questions that have been circulating, so we are here to answer those questions!

A little bit about us-
We are a sister owned, creatively driven, rooted in Jesus, Floral, Interior Design, Event and Home Decor business! It all started with a uniting of passions when we discovered that we all have such a desire to create beautiful things for people who may not know how or think they can't because of lack of budget. Over time, we started to see that we work so well when we put our minds together to solve these everyday problems that many battle. We saw the lack of resources for those that feel like they can't hire a "Designer" because when they think of that, they think $$$. Which is what the norm of society has to say. There is a stigma that all designers only work with multiple thousands of dollars budgets and only the best of the best brands.... we say, give us a budget, we can get creative and make it happen, even if that means repurposing furniture and accessories from a thrift store! We want all to see that beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder and we strive to make your space "reflect the beauty we were created for!!"

Christmas is over…I so enjoy the holiday season,and take full advantage of getting to decorate our home to reflect that joy.
But, I also love the fresh start and feeling of simplicity that comes with the first month of the New Year. I like decor that highlights that as well with simple shapes and lines, classic colors, and those “just right” pieces that come together to give me that fresh start feeling
