This month, we had the pleasure of hosting KCCTE Knife Skills workshop! Instructor Bill Loudermilk provided an excellent demonstration on the proper use of culinary tools, helping support and inspire Wichita’s culinary educators.

Wrapping up the March anniversaries, we have Veronica Ibarra of Veronica's Kitchen also celebrating her 1 year at the Kitchens at Empower! With over 12 years of experience, Veronica’s Kitchen provides high-quality catering for any occasion. From beautifully crafted charcuterie boards to full-service event catering, every dish is made with passion and flavor.

During her time in the Kitchens, Veronica's Kitchen has been a recurring vendor at the Kansas Grown Inc. (and she will be a vendor again this year!), provided catering for our partners who hosted events in our space, secured more event caterings, hosted cooking demonstrations for organizations, participated as a vendor in our Small Business Saturday indoor market and participated in our largest showcase of kitchen talents at the United Way of the Plains Impact on the Plains.
