‼️🐾🐾‼️🐕‍🦺🦮‼️FYI. Foods dogs can eat and cannot. But also NO salt or seasonings for the can eat list. I routinely feed our dogs unsalted green beans and baked sweet potatoes and cooked chicken. Along with a lot of other Whole Foods dogs can eat. Feeding dogs soaked wet kibble along real veggies and fruits and meat Food items is very healthy for dogs. We take our dogs to a great holistic vet Dr Beth Wittenberg in el dorado ks at the Natural Pet Care Center❣️she will work wonders with your pets.

Thanksgiving is just 15 days away! Keep your pups safe this holiday season by keeping in mind what food they can and can't have.

‼️Oreo has been in shelter 700 days. 💔. If you can adopt look at the long term dogs in shelters. Contact Wellington Humane Society Serving Sumner County

⚠️URGENT PLEA!!!⚠️

You have probably seen us post about Oreo before. He is a large mixed breed that has been with us for over 700 days! The staff has gotten to know him really well during this time. We want you to know that he is a lover! He craves love and attention! He enjoys outtings and dog park visits, and the occasional hamburger or pupcup. He loves pets and any type of attention you will give him. And did we mention how much he loves his ball?!

The shelter is loud and busy and some dogs are more stressed than others. Oreo sadly is showing signs of stress. He fights to keep weight on and he struggles with restlessness. We have tried several things including changing his food and medications. But the best solution is to get him out of the shelter setting! We are only meant to be a temporary placement for animals until they find their forever homes. But when he is outside of the shelter, he is a whole different dog! He is calmer and confident and a good boy!

🆘So we are asking you to help us! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Help us find Oreo a home or foster! His health is declining!

You can help by sharing with your friends and family. If you can't adopt, consider fostering! If you know of a rescue that could help that we haven't tried, let us know! He has recently played with another large dog successfully, but he is picky and still learning to play. He cannot be with small animals or cats.
