โค๏ธ It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James โJimโ Everett, founder of Country Junction โ The Worldโs Largest General Store.
Jim was a man of big ideas, incredible vision, and an unwavering determination to turn those ideas into reality. What began as a small family business in the early 1980s grew into something truly extraordinaryโa destination that has welcomed generations of families and created countless memories along the way.
Alongside his wife, Jan, Jim built more than just a store. He built a place where families could gather, traditions could begin, and visitors could experience a little bit of magic around every corner.
Even after a devastating fire destroyed the original store in 2006, Jimโs determination never wavered. He believed in what Country Junction could be, and with the support of his family, employees, and community, he rebuilt it bigger and better than ever.
Jimโs entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and larger-than-life dreams helped shape Country Junction into the beloved landmark it is today. His legacy lives on not only in the business he built, but in the people he inspired, the lives he touched, and the memories made by generations of families who have walked our Yellow Brick Road.
As we mourn his passing, we extend our deepest love and sympathy to the entire Everett family.
Thank you, Jim, for dreaming big, never giving up, and creating something that will continue to bring joy to families for generations to come.
Your vision will live on, and you will be deeply missed. โค๏ธ
