One question we are often asked at Blessing & Blooms is:

🌸 “What happens to all of the flowers after a large wedding or event?”

The answer is one of our favorite parts of what we do.

Whenever possible, after an event has been enjoyed by guests, we carefully retrieve the floral arrangements and repurpose them into smaller bouquets and arrangements that can continue spreading joy. These flowers are then donated to local nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and convalescent facilities to brighten the days of residents who may not receive regular visitors.

This weekend, we had the privilege of blessing Williamsburg Post Acute & Rehabilitation Center with beautiful flowers from a recent event. What had already been part of a special celebration was given new life to encourage and uplift others. The arrangements now bring color, beauty, and a reminder that they are loved, seen, and cared for by their community.

We believe flowers do more than decorate a room—they bring hope, comfort, and connection.

At Blessing & Blooms, we’re honored to be part of life’s celebrations, and even more honored when those celebrations can continue blessing others long after the event is over. 💐

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Announcement 🇺🇸

In honor of Memorial Day, Blessing & Blooms Florist will be closed on Monday as we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Today, we reflect with gratitude on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy each day. ❤️🤍💙

We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday.

Today my heart is just overflowing with gratitude for the incredible team God has placed around me at Blessing & Blooms Florist. 🌸

Flowers are beautiful, but what truly makes this place special is the heart behind every arrangement. God has surrounded me with some of the most talented designers , people who don’t just create with skill, but with love, passion, and genuine care poured into every single piece they touch.

What I love most is that we’re more than coworkers… we’re family. We celebrate together, support one another, pray together, and step in for one another when it matters most. That heart shows in the work we do every day.

Today we were blessed to be part of such a beautiful celebration, and also to help ease the heart of a mama preparing her young person for prom. As parents, we know the emotions and anxieties that come with wanting everything to be perfect for our children. Being able to step in, love on someone, and help bring peace to an already stressful moment means more than words can say.

I’m just so thankful today , thankful for great employees, faithful customers, a supportive community, and the opportunity to do something we truly love. We never take it for granted.
