Welcome to "OFF THE CLOCK" where I show you my life outside the studio. 😊

For weeks, this sweet student has been warning me that I'm NOT allowed to wear my chicken costume to her graduation. 😂 (For the record, I've only been wearing chicken glasses when I see her.)

She's been part of my studio family for 3 years, and now she's graduating elementary school and heading to middle school.

So instead of a chicken costume, I'm preparing graduation leis Hawaiian-style. 🌺🍬

Because when my students invite me to their big moments, I want them to know someone is cheering for them.

Teaching sewing was never just about teaching sewing.

It's about showing up.

And if they need a proud auntie in the crowd, I've got them. ❤️

I needed an outfit that's summer friendly, elevated, and a fun pop of color. I embroidered myself a monogram on my orange button-up shirt in no time at all. Love the way it came together.
