The studio is still a work in progress… but the sewing can’t stop. 🧵✂️💕

In between styling shelves, hanging things, moving furniture, remodeling and figuring out what goes where… I still have orders to sew and work to get done. 😂

So while everything around me may not be finished just yet, the machines are on and I’m officially sewing in the new space. ✨

One corner at a time. One project at a time. It’s all coming together. 💕

Fall Sewing Club is almost here! 🍂🧵
What if your child could look at something hanging in their closet and proudly say, “I made that.”
Our Fall Sewing Club runs September through November, and we have such a fun season of sewing planned! Students will work on projects like this Sherpa Quarter-Zip Pullover, move into Halloween costumes, and then we'll kick off the holiday season by making Christmas pajamas! 🎄
But the finished projects are only part of what they're learning.
Every project teaches them something new — garment construction, working with different fabrics, installing zippers, following patterns, ironing and pressing, using sewing tools correctly, and understanding how clothing actually comes together.
And then there are the skills you can't measure with a sewing machine:
Patience. Focus. Problem-solving. Confidence. And learning that sometimes you have to take a seam out and try again.
With Home Economics no longer offered in many schools, skills like sewing, ironing and making things with your own hands aren't being passed down the way they once were.
I don't want sewing to become a lost art.
I want our kids to understand the work that goes into the clothes they wear. There's a completely different appreciation for clothing when you've actually made something yourself.
Three months. Multiple projects. So many new skills. 🧵✨
And hopefully a child who leaves saying, “Wait…I can actually MAKE my own clothes?!”

🏠 Homeschool families: Our Fall Homeschool Sewing class is already available on the website for registration.

🍂 Fall Sewing Club begins the week of September 6!

Did you know I create marketing content for Brother? 🧵✨

For the past six years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Brother creating sewing content, tutorials, and fun, beginner-friendly projects—and I absolutely LOVE what I do.

You can find me on Brother’s website and across their social media pages teaching projects designed to make sewing feel approachable, exciting, and doable, especially for beginners.

It’s one of my favorite parts of what I do because teaching people how to sew doesn’t just happen inside my studio. Through Brother, I get to share that creativity with people all over the world. 💕✂️

Six years later, and I still get excited every time I get to create something new.

So the next time you’re scrolling Brother’s website or social pages and see a familiar face… yep, that’s me! 😊

POV: you mail me your clothes to customize ✨

From the moment your package arrives, I’m taking you through the entire process—opening it up, creating your design in my embroidery software, printing and checking placement, hooping, stitching, and all the little details in between.
There’s a whole process behind that finished embroidery you see at the end, and this is what it really looks like from package to personalized. 🧵✨

She had the vision, I just brought it to life. 🥹🧵

She created the design, dropped off this sweet little cardigan, and asked me to embroider her artwork onto it. And THIS is how it turned out. 😍
I love when you bring me your ideas and trust me to turn them into something completely personal. Especially when it’s this tiny. 🥹
Yes—you can bring or mail in your own items for custom embroidery. 💕

Sewing is one of those skills I never want to see disappear. 🧵✂️

There’s something special about learning how to take a piece of fabric and turn it into something you can actually wear, use, and proudly say, “I made this.”

And the best part? Learning to sew doesn’t have to feel old-fashioned or boring. Around here, it’s colorful, creative, a little messy, and FUN. 💕 They’re learning how to use a sewing machine, follow directions, solve problems, work with their hands, and trust their own creativity.

Sewing may be becoming a lost skill, but I’m doing my part to make sure the next generation knows how to do it — and has a really good time learning. 🪡✨

These Seniors were given free range with fabric paint, rhinestones, patches + all the things… and told them to make their senior jeans as EXTRA and messy as they wanted. 👖🎨💎✨

No rules. No trying to make them perfect. Just a table full of supplies and a whole lot of creativity.

Senior jeans might be one of my favorite trends yet. 🎓💕
