What do you love most about your education? Teddy shared, “The fact that education brought about harmony that I longed for in the first 10 years of my life. FoDU’s education support became the reason for cooperation and hard work in my family because they all look up to me now.”
What would your life look like today without the support of FoDU? Rebecca answered, “Without the support of FoDU, I would not be able to speak in public and would avoid my peers through worry about my menstrual days.”
What is your favorite part of FoDU’s programming and why? Jackie replied, “I love the counseling and guidance because this gives me emotional support which is so rare here in Uganda. This encourages me and keeps me on track, even at the hardest moments in life I find myself not quitting.”
How has one of FoDU’s hygiene kits created positive changes in your life? Babra Joyce shared, “The kits have helped me to promote my personal hygiene where I feel free and confident during my monthly cycle among the community.”
