Turns out my very viral crash out on the internet wasnā€™t as unique as I thought šŸ™ƒ (donā€™t worry I deleted it becauseā€¦ haters, but Iā€™m sure itā€™s still floating around out there)

The amount of small business owners that reached out saying ā€œweā€™re going through the same thingā€ honestly shocked me. Behind the pretty storefronts, curated feeds, packed weddings, and smiling facesā€¦ a lot of us are carrying way more than people realize.

But here we are. Still creating. Still figuring it out one day at a time. One foot in front of the other and making it happen anyway.

Small business ownership is beautiful, exhausting, rewarding, terrifying, and humbling all at once. And if youā€™re in the thick of it too ā€” I see you. šŸ¤

Each month, Alyssa, owner of Mother of Wild, creates a large floral design and gifts it to a local business that weā€™re grateful to have in our community. This is our way of saying thank you for choosing local, showing up, and making our Wilmington community what it is.
