Thinking beyond the traditional office, we wanted this space to feel like it belonged with the rest of the home. The result is a room that combines the comfort of home with the function of an office.

Celebrating 10 Years | Part 3 of 3 | What’s Next

Once in a blue moon, an idea becomes a dream, and a dream becomes a world of its own.

When I think about where this started, I never imagined it would become what it is today. Over the past decade, I’ve been invited into your homes and trusted with all the details. I’ve created so many things I’m proud of and built something that will stay with me forever.

Ten years has a way of putting everything into perspective. But more than anything, it made me think about what’s next. We do know that this feels like the end of one version of EGD and the beginning of another. We want to bring you a little closer into what we’ve created with new services, new ideas, and more ways for us to be a part of your home.

We’ll share more when the time comes. But first, we have a Christmas season to get ready for. The holiday season is coming together, with just a few dates left on our calendar. To make your home part of our holiday season, email [email protected].

We wait all year for this color palette to come back around. Rich color, endless texture, and everything is just better in abundance. And when it comes to arrangements this time of year, we prefer the ones you can’t quite fit completely in the camera frame. 🍂

If you ask us, we’d say we’re stepping into the best four months of the year. And it’s officially the season for this kind of beauty.

This wreath has left the studio and is on its way to a very special home. We wanted it to feel organic and loose, with that just gathered look and plenty of natural movement. Exactly the kind of piece we love to create.

This isn’t a list of trends, and definitely not another guide telling you what your home should look like. It’s about the things that actually make a difference and the decisions worth thinking about when designing your home. Read on, these are the details that count.

Part 2 of 3 | The Journey

I’ve always believed there’s room to dream a little bigger. This journey has always been about imagining what something could be, and then pushing it a little further. Bigger. More imaginative. More unexpected.

Looking back, the path here looks nothing like I imagined it would, and I think that’s part of the beauty of it. Every new chapter has stretched my imagination a little further while bringing me back to the same belief that started it all: there is always more to imagine, more to create, and more to make beautiful.

Maybe that’s part of why I love Christmas so much. It gives us permission to go a little bigger, have a little more fun, and transform the familiar into something that feels completely different, even if only for a season.

There are limited spots remaining on our holiday decorating calendar. Reach out at [email protected] or fill out our holiday inquiry form to discuss working together. Here’s to a Christmas that feels a little bigger, a little brighter, and full of wonder. ☁️

There’s something about this dining room, the colors, the warmth, the overall feeling, that hints at fall. Which I think we’re all ready for! It’s the time of year when our homes really start to feel lived in. With entertaining season almost here, we designed this room for exactly that, good company and time around the table.

A trip to NYC is always a good idea. We came for the project, but never pass up a chance to enjoy the city. Now it’s time to turn this space around. Over the next three months, every detail comes together, from structural changes and custom millwork to a full lighting plan and furnishings, before this client is settling into their new home and enjoying the city this fall.
