Part 2 of 3 | The Journey

I’ve always believed there’s room to dream a little bigger. This journey has always been about imagining what something could be, and then pushing it a little further. Bigger. More imaginative. More unexpected.

Looking back, the path here looks nothing like I imagined it would, and I think that’s part of the beauty of it. Every new chapter has stretched my imagination a little further while bringing me back to the same belief that started it all: there is always more to imagine, more to create, and more to make beautiful.

Maybe that’s part of why I love Christmas so much. It gives us permission to go a little bigger, have a little more fun, and transform the familiar into something that feels completely different, even if only for a season.

A trip to NYC is always a good idea. We came for the project, but never pass up a chance to enjoy the city. Now it’s time to turn this space around. Over the next three months, every detail comes together, from structural changes and custom millwork to a full lighting plan and furnishings, before this client is settling into their new home and enjoying the city this fall.

Celebrating 10 Years | Part 1 of 3 | Where It All Began

Ten years ago, this was just a dream. Today, it’s a life I still can’t believe I get to live.

As we thought about how to celebrate this milestone for EGD, we kept coming back to Christmas. It felt right that, as we celebrate a decade, we also officially open our 2026 Christmas calendar, the season where it all began and the foundation for everything EGD has become.

Design has always been at the heart of who I am. Building a life around it and getting to share it with all of you is something I never could have imagined.

Next stop: the moon. Because if we’re going to dream, we might as well dream all the way there together. 🌙
