I have procrastinated enough …
Rescued Relics last day at 411 River Rd is this Sunday 10/4… The building is being torn down & the land will be developed…part of me doesn’t want to accept it … but life works in mysterious ways…
When we first moved to Wimberley this opportunity fell in my lap. I met my business partner Bruce Mauldin at a storage sale & he took a chance on me as a business partner … we sold out of a warehouse for 3 years (and sweat to death)… then moved to the current location on River Rd…
6 Months into that lease Bruce believed in my ability to run the business on my own … so I bought him out.

The amount of unseen help from family & friends is what got me to where I am now!

My husband has always been my “He-man Hauler” … always willing to help… not always so excited about it.

My kids were raised in the business … long boring summers helping mom was not the summer they envisioned… and later as teens actually running the store for me & always recruited to move estates & storage building buy outs.

My mom was instrumental in helping me stage the store & when she could … ran the store & our market days booth.
My inlaws have always been supportive … & Coach Jackson & Mimi helped source treasures (my Pickers)… not to mention the time I had a booth at RoundTop & they helped haul my Rescued Relics in the freezing rain!

For 8 years when I had my Market Day Booth my best friend Lexi would help me work my booth … with the exception of summer months… b/c it was too dang hot!

It took a Tribe to make Rescued Relics a success… but let’s not forget my loyal customers… without your support I wouldn’t have lasted 15 years! Y’all supported my quirky antiques /vintage/resale shop & I thank you!

I am unsure of what my future holds … i am keeping my options open & am waiting for my next opportunity! For now I plan on selling online until I can figure out my next move!

So come out this weekend & take advantage of the 30% Off Sale … we will be glad to see you!

And Thanks again!
